New Chief Marketing Officer Joins The Connected Pet Company
Stephanie N. Blahut joins The Connected Pet Company, LLC as Chief Marketing Officer—bringing digital customer acquisition and insurtech startup expertise together to improve the pet insurance customer journey.

Blahut as Chief Marketing Officer. Blahut brings tested expertise in digital customer acquisition for startup and growth-stage insurance businesses.

In 2015, Blahut joined insurtech Figo Pet Insurance as the director of digital marketing and marketing technology. There she spent five years building and optimizing the digital, direct-to-consumer acquisition strategy, as well as managing content marketing and related digital channels. Figo was acquired by JAB Holding Company in October 2021.
Most recently, in 2020, Blahut co-founded B2Z Insurance Inc., a digital-first, insurance startup serving small business owners. As CMO, she developed the go-to-market strategy—while launching their brand, initial website and supporting digital channels—all with an eye toward optimizing the digital customer experience. B2Z was acquired by fintech leader Acrisure, LLC in September 2022.
Blahut holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts, both from Penn State University, and is a current member of the American Marketing Association. Additionally, she has worked with other technology startups as a business mentor through 1871, the Chicago-based startup technology incubator.
