The optics are such that a possible non-Jew is implying to a Jew that their views towards the Holocaust are wrong. That would be universally condemned as so-called ‘anti-Semitism’ according to the US-led West’s own “politically correct” standards towards the Holocaust but Lapatina will likely get a pass for her latest hoax simply because it’s meant to provoke more Russophobia, which is actually no less evil than actual anti-Semitism.
One of the most obnoxious US-led Western Mainstream Media (MSM) information warfare narratives against Russia right now is the comparison of its ongoing special military operation in Ukraine to the Holocaust. It’s always a hoax anytime this happens but these propagandists’ targeted audience usually believes it without any question despite these claims contradicting the practically sacred tenet of their “politically correct” societies. That’s to never do anything that takes away from portraying the Holocaust as the evilest crime to have ever been committed in history.
Even Israeli Prime Minister Bennett had to publicly condemn fellow Jewish leader Ukrainian President Zelensky for making such a comparison, scolding him by authoritatively stating that “it is forbidden to compare anything to the Holocaust.” Bennett’s authority on this issue isn’t an exaggeration either since the US-led West’s “politically correct” standards assert that the official representative of Holocaust survivors and their descendants can never be contradicted whenever they issue a statement about the genocide carried out by Nazi Germany and its other European allies like local Ukrainian fascists.
It’s with this “politically correct” context in mind that one begins to wonder exactly what Anastasia Lapatina’s true intentions are. She’s a Ukrainian from the “Kyiv Independent” who’s presently living outside of her war-torn country and writes for globally prominent MSM outlets like the New York Times and The Guardian according to her Twitter bio. Lapatina is also, however, a propagandist who incessantly spreads fake news about the Ukrainian Conflict. One of the most egregious examples of this happened on Wednesday when she once again implied a comparison to the Holocaust.
She tweeted that “Russians began using MOBILE CREMATORIUMS in #Mariupol to burn bodies of slaughtered Ukrainians en masse. This is a catastrophe. And we will never learn the true scale of it”. She then added right below that her source was the Mariupol City Council, which is obviously a self-interested participant to the conflict and very clearly can’t be trusted without a truly neutral and independent investigation confirming its dramatic claims. Nevertheless, Lapatina sees nothing wrong with amplifying such a scandalous comparison to the Holocaust despite it being “politically incorrect”.
This raises some very uncomfortable questions for those who support the US-led West’s “politically correct” standards. Prime Minister Bennett is supposed to be the uncontested global authority on the Holocaust due to his position as the official representative of those who’ve survived that genocide yet here’s Lapatina openly contradiciting him by continuing to make comparisons to the Holocaust despite the Israel leader declaring that “it is forbidden” to do so. The optics are such that a possible non-Jew is implying to a Jew that their views towards the Holocaust are wrong.
That would be universally condemned as so-called “anti-Semitism” according to the US-led West’s own “politically correct” standards towards the Holocaust but Lapatina will likely get a pass for her latest hoax simply because it’s meant to provoke more Russophobia, which is actually no less evil than actual anti-Semitism. Essentially, by the same standards of her own liberal-globalist civilizational bloc, she’s weaponizing what the West would regard as “anti-Semitism” in order to propagate Russophobic information warfare narratives related to comparing Russia’s Ukrainian campaign to the Holocaust.
This objective observation reveals just how pernicious the US-led West’s double standards are. On the one hand, the Holocaust is regarded as a sacred topic that nothing else should ever be compared to in order to avoid taking away from what’s presented as Jews’ historically unique suffering. On the other hand, however, this same sacred issue is shamelessly weaponized to provoke more Russophobia against Russians with the intent of inspiring radicalized individuals to physically punish members of that ethnic group and potentially even slaughter them in the streets for what their military is doing in Ukraine.
Put another way, the same evils that the US-led West’s “politically correct” stance towards the Holocaust is supposedly intended to prevent against Jews are being deliberately unleashed against Russians by exploiting the Nazis’ genocide against Jews during World War II. This confirms that those same “politically correct” standards aren’t truly sincere but are being employed for whatever ulterior reason it may be that each respective gatekeeper should account for themselves if they’re publicly challenged to do so. The author is challenging Lapatina to do just that though she’s unlikely to respond.
