Fantasy WR PPR Rankings Week 15: Who to start, sit at wide receiver in fantasy football

The wide receiver pecking order is always difficult to sort out, and our Week 15 fantasy WR PPR rankings are some of the toughest we’ve had to put together all season. All 32 teams will be in action, so we don’t have to worry about scrambling for bye-week fill-ins. However, owners of players like A.J. Brown (chest), Antonio Brown (suspension), and more are still going to look for streamers or at least identify potential sleepers with favorable matchups. We’re here to help with those tough start ’em, sit ’em decisions.

Tyreek Hill (@ Chargers) and Stefon Diggs (vs. Panthers) are about as low as you’ll ever see them, but we’re not pretending like you can bench them. Don’t do it. The same goes for D.J. Moore (@ Bills), DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett (@ Rams), and the surging Tee Higgins (@ Broncos).

WEEK 15 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

If you’re wondering whether you should start Jamison Crowder (@ Dolphins), DeVante Parker (vs. Jets), K.J Osborn (@ Bears), Darnell Mooney (vs. Vikings), Marques Valdes-Scantling (@ Ravens), or Michael Gallup (@ Giants), we say yes. They are all in a position to succeed in some of the best matchups a receiver can get, so while they have varying degrees of safety and upside, roll with them in Week 15. MVS and Gallup are riskier in PPR leagues, as they often accrue most of their value through big plays, but their matchups are favorable enough to take advantage of.

WEEK 15 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide Receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Kadarius Toney and Sterling Shepard (vs. Cowboys), Kendrick Bourne and Jakobi Meyers (@ Colts), and Allen Robinson (vs. Vikings) are also potential starting options this week. Robinson is the toughest to trust, but given the plus matchup and his overall talent, we’d still be willing to flex him in PPR leagues.

Going deeper, guys like Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (@ Steelers), Laqauon Treadwell (vs. Texans), Braxton Berrios (@ Dolphins), and Tre’Quan Smith (@ Buccaneers) also have appeal, but they all have QB issues or are just generally untrustworthy. That said, they aren’t bad plays in deep leagues.

Josh Reynolds and Amon-Ra St. Brown (vs. Cardinals), T.Y. Hilton (vs. Patriots), Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis (vs. Panthers), Rashod Bateman (vs. Packers), and Courtland Sutton (vs. Bengals) are less than dependable to stay the least, and although they’ve each been productive here and there, this week doesn’t set them up for success. Russell Gage (@ 49ers) also has one of the tougher WRs matchups, but we don’t blame you if you consider him in the flex spot in a PPR league based on the target figures he’s drawn over the past few weeks. Beware of him in standard, though. To a lesser degree, the same can be said for Michael Pittman (vs. Patriots).

Exhaust all options at WRs, and rely on matchups and target share figures to get out of the first round of the playoffs with a “W.” Some guys have higher ceilings while others have higher floors. Figure out what you’re more likely to need and go from there.

Note: We’ll be updating these WR PPR rankings throughout the week, so beck back for the latest analysis and player movement.
